How to spot Fake Oakley Frogskins Thread - Warning! Fakes!

Hey everyone, back from a long hiatus and still after the Grenade Olive Greens! Came across this auction on ebay and wanted to verify with the experts:

They look pretty legit to me but I'm not expert lol

^^ I believe these are fake as they come with the warranty card… although I could be wrong!

First e-Bay link looks fine.
Correct micro-fiber bag. "Grenade symbol" laser etched on the outside of the left lens. "GRENADE" in yellow on the inside of the right ear-stem. Oakley logo should be in yellow on the outside of the ear stems.
From what I can see looks legit. to me.
Second e-Bay link looks fine also, although yes, black warranty cards don't come packaged in those god awful clear brittle plastic boxes.
Doesn't necessarily mean the shades themselves are a fake though.

second listing is legit...i made a bid on that before it was re listed at 175 and i was outbidded and i gave up lol his reserve must be high

Not much detail in those pix, but from the little there I would think they were real. Funny enough most fakes are advertised as polarized, but I havent seen too many Rootbeer fakes as of yet.

Are there any other marks or things to notice which a fake doesnt have?

Most fakes are moulded off the fades, with the star in the right orbital. The Sku on the left inner arm is usually wrong and the little o is misshapen. Also, alot of fakes have oakley across the nose bridge or on the left lens.

Most times if it comes in a complete set its real.
I haven't checked the SKU's but both color combo's are in existence and looks real.
