Just everyone be patient, it's just a pair of sunglasses. There are so many more pleasing things you can set your eyes upon.

I will almost bet that a majority of the people that see them will have their personal comments about them, they will say their piece, then move on. Some will buy, others will bash and try to say its not Oakley and its Lux's idea of trying to satisfy a few people, then bash Lux on how they will never make anything that can complete with the original X Metal.

I have read post after post and up until now its a continuous circle of the same thing, "I head from this person, I heard from that rep, this manager, that manager, blah, blah, blah. Bottom line is its on the horizon and will be debuted soon, if you want it, buy it, if you don't, then don't.

Companies often love it when a picture gets out there "before" it should then is taken away, look at the attention it drums up, people now know there is something in the works on it's way and if it's talked about it will relate to sales.
It's obviously going to be made to a price, aimed at a sales demographic because they are there to make money and sell their products to as many people as possible or assuming they have some their shareholders wouldn't be too impressed with their investment.

RUMORS ARE STILL RUMORS until we basically see an actual product I am still not buying THIS NEW X METAL release anyway till I see it for myself the source is not pretty much un- reliable anyways, so when its out we can discuss this "new release" all the way we want.....

Like everyone says, X-metal as product material is gone for now. X-metal as a design language however will be alive and well. It looks like most of the forum has seen the craziness of the Madman. Expectations are probably high for the Badman to be just as crazy or even crazier but I recommend not keeping those expectations too high. The Badman is actually pretty tame in comparison. Still very cool but not close to being outrageously crazy like the Madman. At least not the ones the reps are showing.

Good.

I know this horse has been beaten to death a few times but I talked to a manager who has been hands on with these new frames and he said they are cool, kind of similar in design to Juliet and Mars (which is known) and did confirm it's a magnesium frame. He didn't known if it would be limited production or not though. I asked if they looked better or worse the the old x metal, he hesitated and said it was different... Anyway I am excited to see what comes out!
