Staff in 2 shops here I went in last week both told me about next years Juliet 2.0, also saying it was very secret and hush hush. I'd like it to be true, I'm not sure if it was so secret that the shop staff would know this far out?

I'd like for it to be true too. I have a fair amount invested in Juliets but if a new release comes in that is close enough to share parts, thus extending the life of my gen 1 pairs even further, I wouldn't complain. My wallet might, if I could just walk in off the street and buy Juliets whenever I wanted though! Perhaps it's no bad thing after all that I started after they were no longer readily available...

I'd even be happy with exactly the same design but differentiated through finish and marked SKU. Maybe finishes named after metals - steel, copper, lead etc.

Blah blah whether they call it x metal or not were not in charge of that but from what I was told. The new x metals will be magnesium, not like the mag frames from before and will be named badman and madman

Wow... Can't wait to see it one day... It'll be a new metal without taking away from the original 'names' ... IMO Juliet 2.0 is a sucky name... Because if it a ****e frame it'll tarnish the 'Juliet' rep for ever...

Reading this whole thread I get the feeling lux just tell oakley employees to tell us mugs that x-metals are coming bk so we maintain an eye on there products. What good marketing. "Also tell them it's all hush hush so when it doesn't happen, we can denie all knowledge. But hopefully while keeping and eye out for these x-metals, they will see something else cheaper to make and buy that for a rediculous price." Probably what was actually said at Miami confrence or wateva. Never mind we can stil hope.
