But I think they're unlikely to be a commercial success, especially if they have to do a lot of specialization to their production line to make them.

Maybe, maybe not. There's a lot of pent up demand for this type of stuff that's been unfulfilled by any company over the last little bit. The demand just might take everyone by surprised, though whether there will be all that many people wearing it is an entirely different story; but I expect it to be offered for sale and last as least as long as the OTT.

But even so, I think Oakley has managed their expectations on this one, especially in the wake of the Mars. The Mars never sold all that well (and this was in the '90s when the style was popular), which is why you saw them being unloaded at Oakley's sidewalk sale by the truckload.

All of the people asking for the picture defeats the purpose of the matter. The picture is not to be distributed. Especially after XMM says we don't want attention or to damage any kind of relationship there might be with Oakley.

I agree with Rustpot. Yes, it's a shame I missed it and I am intrigued but it's one of those things. By all accounts it won't be long before we see official material on them anyway.
