Something kinda cool I picked up on this morning. Kevin Keiner who did most of the scores for the animated SW shows also did the score for Ahsoka. So not sure if it was intentional or not but the final few notes in the music for the scene of Ahsoka leaving the Jedi order in the clone wars series is pretty similar to the final few notes of when Anakin’s force ghost appears at the end of the episode. In both scenes Ahsoka is walking away from Anakin. If it was intentional not sure if there’s deeper meaning behind it.

(no spoilers just talking about a character and not the plot points)

In regards to Thrawn- The OG expanded universe Timothy Zahn authored Thrawn trilogy (Heir to the Empire trilogy) i read over 20 years ago is what I think of when I think of the character... This Thrawn in Ahsoka so far is an incompetent run of the mill Imperial general that looks like an aging nerd. Not the Imposing figure and battlefield tactics genius he was in the books. In the books he wiped the floor of his enemies with great tactical story lines and only lost key battles when he couldn't account for wizardry on the battlefield once in a rare while.

I kinda gave it a pass in the cartoons, because well... it's a cartoon. Villains are always incompetent in cartoons. Now that it's back to live action, the Dave Filoni version of Thrawn just doesn't sit well with me. I know this guy voiced the cartoon character of Thrawn so I'm trying to like his casting, but he doesn't fit someone who has the physical command of any room he is in that Thawn should.

Ezra's casting is pretty good. He is fun to watch and fits the character spot on.

I agree with you on Thrawn bro. Zahn has the best version of him down, both in legends and in the new canon books he wrote for him. I think Filoni did a good job casting a voice to put to the character but he definitely made him weaker than he has been portrayed in print medium.
