I just put mine in the washing machine on a mild wash. Never had any carry over probs....

You guys have inspired me. I rounded up my collection of old Oakley microfiber bags and will wash them all at once. Will be nice having them clean!

A couple of weekends ago I cleaned mine. Some that came from boxes with degrading foam were just plain nasty and did have that brown funk come out of them though they looked clean.
I hand washed in Dawn, rinsed a bunch and then air dried:

only momentarily and only if it is the older Gen1/Gen2 bags (you can tell by the tags). It doesnt get stiff enough to scratch lenses or anything if thats what youre asking...

I usually wash mine by hand with some warm water and hand soap. Once washed I hang them up on the clothes horse to dry.
