both are Polarized. that's what the P in BIP abbreviation stands for. if they weren't polar they would just be abbreviated BI.

as for the lighter. here is the thing... Prizm lenses all seem to be similar in the fact that even though the light transmission is low, it doesn't darken your vision as much as the older lenses. you can wear them later in the day or on cloudy days, yet you will not be squinting on bright days. it honestly is the one thing besides improved color I like about the Prizm line. I wear my Prizm Field lenses playin golf in twilight conditions right up to the point where the sun is down.

You have BIP AND BIP Prizm lenses, you didn't sell your BIP lenses after getting the Prizm version - will you be doing that, or do you like them enough still to keep?
Question:
I just got a pair of Drop Points with Black Prizm Polarized lenses. When I put them on everything looks super contrasty and greens really pop (I'm used to the regular BIP lenses) which I suppose is the Prizm stuff doing its thing. When I take them off however, my vision seems a bit weird for at least a few minutes. Never had that with the regular BIP / BI lenses.
Is that normal? Do others experience this as well?
At least with Prizm Daily, I get that, but it takes me a few seconds, not a few minutes. It's probably your eyes adjusting from having the sunglasses on and seeing everything through a lens with a different hue compared to your natural vision.
