The name 'MRY Lens' probably doesn't ring a bell to most folks here. Alternatively, many might have seen the name while scrolling search results for replacement lenses. A few intrepid folks might even have tried their cheap lenses and ended up disappointed - I belong to the last category. My first, and until now, last order from MRY was in 2021 - a pair of $20 'Deep Blue' polarized lenses for a Split Shot, which were paper-thin and had distortion.

Fast forward to 2025, and I land on their page again while looking for replacements. What intrigued me were a lot of unconventional lens tints, which included a Deep Water (DWP), Grey Chrome (Prizm Grey), Low Light Pink (Prizm Low Light) and 'Gamming' (Prizm Gaming) and quite a few more. These belonged to the 'Ultra' tier, priced at $29.95 which puts them at a much lower price point than most of the popular aftermarket lens brands like Revant, Fuse, SFX etc. The Ultra tier lenses are claimed to be 1.8mm thick Polycarbonate polarized lenses vs the 1mm TAC lenses in the standard category.

I pulled the trigger on the DWP tint for a pair of Holbrook XLs. So far, I had never seen aftermarket lenses with a tint resembling the DWP (except SFX Light Blue lenses reviewed by @AlanH here: Aftermarket Lenses - Revant/Walleva/Fuse/Ikon/Linegear...etc). The SFX lenses had a neutral black tint looking through and I expected the same from the MRY lenses.

My package arrived today and turns out, these lenses are a exact DWP replica with the same rose tint. Thickness and finishing is at par with OEM and zero distortion. In fact, the ghosting of LED lights seen on OEM Oakley DWP is also absent here so it actually one-ups here. I'm pleasantly surprised with these lenses and feel they are worth a recommendation here. The ultra tier lenses are available for a wide variety of legacy and modern frames as well.

I too have used the MRY, and had seen a couple of reviews prior to the use of their lenses, I am presuming from early inception days, the quality of lenses may have been sub par to other 3rd party replacement lens makers on the market, but I took a chance and was pleasantly surprised with the clarity I found using them. Mainly used them for replacement Tailend lenses as they kept to the original look of this style of how Oakley had the orbital etching around the lens edge.

Not sure if that is still offered as to this date, but will endeavour to get more colours at a later time to see if anymore improvements to their quality aswell.

Price comparison to other 3rd parties that did make this actual Tailend lens was a little more, so was under a pretense that the quality would be greater than others made at that time.

I now mainly use TheSunglassfix lenses, due to being an Australian and that the lenses are made and cut here, so my average prices vary between 40 to 80 dollars depending on the Tier of lens I am chasing and the quality offered is very high.

These look good. I have some MRY EVZero lenses. Been happy with them. Not thin or optically irritating. The DW lenses is a new one. Going to have to see what that comes in for some of the ones I like to wear. Very informative review. Nice pics and thanks for the tag.

I pulled the trigger on a pair of the DWP and Deep Blue for my Pitch and Path EVZero. They have some options on their site not mirrored to their Amazon store. So I went direct. Looking forward to those since I dont recall any Deep Water Prizm EVZero releases and none so far for the Cybr line either. Which is a little odd since both frame styles are perfect for fishing and water activity with their high wrap and light weight for all day wear.

Nice to hear positive feedback on MRY from both. It's great when a manufacturer listens to customer feedback and improves on their shortcomings to come up with better products. I am definitely getting a pair of their Grey Iridium lenses next. Based on the 14% VLT, I assume this will be equivalent to either Prizm Grey or Prizm Daily. If the tint is closer to the Prizm Daily, it will be the revival of one of Oakley's best lenses ever.

BTW, not sure what's stopping other manufacturers like Revant, Fuse, SFX etc to come up with the Prizm equivalent tints. Are Oakley's tints patent-protected? If they are launched in aftermarket variants. tints like Prizm Black, Prizm 24K, Prizm Road, Snow Sapphire, Snow Torch etc would be huge success.

Probably just for names sake alone, but maybe they have different views of what their base lens colour needs to be to get their product into the market and be reasonably equivalent to adapt to all makes and brands they supply replacement optics for.

I thought Revant was with the Hc3 tier and then got a notice from Oakley or Luxottica

Not sure if that’s accurate

Now they have the elite tier which has a lot of nice features but are not prizm

Fuse does have AMP though @kmbijit which is very close to Prizm. I have them in Nova (Ruby), Glacier (Sapphire), and Emerald (Jade) equivalents currently. Happy with all 3, Hoping they do their Fusion Gold in AMP and also the Midnight Blue soon.

Do these lenses have the same pop-up color effect as the original PRIZM lenses? It’s a really interesting option — thanks for telling about it!
