MRY Ultra Lenses - DWP lenses for $30

Do these lenses have the same pop-up color effect as the original PRIZM lenses? It’s a really interesting option — thanks for telling about it!

The DWP lenses certainly do. I have a set of Grey Chrome (Prizm grey) lenses on the way too. Will post a review once I have them in hand.

I ordered a pair of Green/Purple for a pair of Maui Jim Castles and a pair of Bronze/Gold & DWP for my Holbrook Mix.

The name 'MRY Lens' probably doesn't ring a bell to most folks here. Alternatively, many might have seen the name while scrolling search results for replacement lenses. A few intrepid folks might even have tried their cheap lenses and ended up disappointed - I belong to the last category. My first, and until now, last order from MRY was in 2021 - a pair of $20 'Deep Blue' polarized lenses for a Split Shot, which were paper-thin and had distortion.

Fast forward to 2025, and I land on their page again while looking for replacements. What intrigued me were a lot of unconventional lens tints, which included a Deep Water (DWP), Grey Chrome (Prizm Grey), Low Light Pink (Prizm Low Light) and 'Gamming' (Prizm Gaming) and quite a few more. These belonged to the 'Ultra' tier, priced at $29.95 which puts them at a much lower price point than most of the popular aftermarket lens brands like Revant, Fuse, SFX etc. The Ultra tier lenses are claimed to be 1.8mm thick Polycarbonate polarized lenses vs the 1mm TAC lenses in the standard category.

I pulled the trigger on the DWP tint for a pair of Holbrook XLs. So far, I had never seen aftermarket lenses with a tint resembling the DWP (except SFX Light Blue lenses reviewed by @AlanH here: Aftermarket Lenses - Revant/Walleva/Fuse/Ikon/Linegear...etc). The SFX lenses had a neutral black tint looking through and I expected the same from the MRY lenses.

My package arrived today and turns out, these lenses are a exact DWP replica with the same rose tint. Thickness and finishing is at par with OEM and zero distortion. In fact, the ghosting of LED lights seen on OEM Oakley DWP is also absent here so it actually one-ups here. I'm pleasantly surprised with these lenses and feel they are worth a recommendation here. The ultra tier lenses are available for a wide variety of legacy and modern frames as well.
