I love the fact that the sunny's are much lighter on my face with the glass lenses out and the polycarb in.

What I really like is the fact that I wasn't wearing these Maui Jim's because of the weight (Glass Lenses)
Now they are feather lite and will be going back into rotation.

Won't get to check the lenses properly until tomorrow.....it was getting dark when I got them done.

I guess it's got to do with the face shape. Always best to try in a store. I found the bisphaera extremely comfortable, and somewhat goodlooking too. IMO it looks better than a Flak. But the half-frame is a style that I'll never wear, so skipped it.

They are larger looking than I was expecting.

Still might buy them......the sale price is hard to ignore.

Definitely had a bit of trouble.

Think I nicked one of the edges of the lense.

A video I found on YouTube said basically that you removed/installed using pressure, like you would a plastic framed sunglass.

But if I was doing it again......I would definitely see if the frame screw opened the frame in any way (although it looks like it doesn't)

I'm about to hit the road now.....but it's still dark..... I can't wait to see how they perform in daylight

Going out on a limb here, but I would presume there is a tiny screw on the underside of the ear stem which would open the frame just enough to put in the lens, but I could be wrong.

Would think all full metal frames have little to no give and require a screw device to lock the lens in place however minimalist the design is.

One good exception is the Oakley Tail series due to its design. It has flex and pressure and the lenses have the notches to hold them on.

You are correct.....there 100% is a screw.
But the tutorial made no mention of it.

Lesson learned!

But on the bright side.....I'm back in love with my Maui Jim Castles
