It was twilight when I got home.

It seems to be an amber FOV.....but very mild.

Maybe you can answer a question that I resurrected an old thread to ask the question.

Will Holbrook (standard size) lenses fit into a Holbrook RX (56) frame??

I can get a nice Holbrook RX Matte Brown Tortoise frame for €73 and I'll put these Bronze lenses into them.
The DWP that are being delivered tomorrow...Will go in the Holbrook Mix in the above photos.

Doesn't seem to be a definitive answer.

It seems to be a brown/bronze base.

I was expecting (hoping) it would be like the Oakley Prizm Tungsten Polarised......but it isn't.

Apologies my friend, I am really clueless about the Holbrook Rx. But here's the thing - The standard Holbrook (OO9102) used to be marked both, 55mm as well as 57mm. Turns out, the lenses are interchangeable between the both.

Second, as you might have observed the MRY lenses are a wee bit larger than the OEM lenses, as in you need just that extra bit of effort to pop them into the frames compared to the OEM lenses. So if you happen to really like those RX frames, you can give them a shot. At the worst, it might leave an indiscernible gap between the frame and lens, which shouldn't be visible unless you've OCD.

I might take a chance on them......worst case scenario and the Holbrook lenses don't fit....I can order some Holbrook RX from MRY.

The tint is not a "24k" gold tint....it's a deeper shade.

Just bought a lovely Oakley Holbrook RX from in matte brown tortoise for €64 delivered.

I'll see if these Bronze/Gold MRY will fit.

So the MRY Optics DWP Polarised Ultra arrived......so the Bronze/Gold onto the subs bench!


I honestly don't think it's possible to find better value for 30 bucks (unless you're in Bangkok )
