I spoke with customer service and they are looking into it, seems like the shipping company lost the packageA little update on the MRY shipping situation.
A pair I ordered on the 10th of November literally just landed in Ireland today......should have those tomorrow.
The pair I ordered on the 13th of November......haven't even been cut yet.
My first 2 purchases went as well as could be expected (coming from China with free delivery)
But these current 2 purchases wouldn't fill me with confidence.
I havent ordered Plantaris lenses from them yet. So I cant speak to that...My latest pair of lenses was for the Plantaris. When they arrived, there was no notch cut into them at the nose bridge. I emailed MRY, and they asked for photos of their lenses next to originals showing them the notch.. I sent the photos as requested, and have just had a reply. Their answer, "take them to a professional to have them fitted."
Last order from me.
If the lens is a 8 base they will if you send them the frame to make the reference measurement. They did for the Lateralis, Gauge 8 and Crosshair 2012. They didnt have any of those prior to me sending the frames to japan to make the reference measure.I wish Linegear did more common o-matter frames like gascans or Holbrook
My opinion... for companies like MRY (also MRYOK and even Walleva), I feel more comfortable ordering their products through Amazon. If there is a problem, returns are much easier. In the case of the "DWP" lenses I purchased for Monster Dog, they were even cheaper than the MRY site. But avoiding their products is also a reasonable option. I only use these companies for very specific parts I might need. MRY makes very good ear socks for X-Metals, Jawbones, and other models. @Beardo0628 and I discovered that while many of Walleva's lenses are garbage, some of their non-polarized lenses are (surprisingly) excellent.Latest email from MRY. Can i send them a video of me not installing the lenses!! WTF? Maybe i could video myself watching the TV?
I told them i don't care anymore.
I normally use LG for aftermarket lenses. That was only my 3rd order, and my last, from MRY. I'll stick with LG in future, as I've always been happy with their lenses. I only tried MRY lenses for a couple of cheap Jawbones that i wear in situations where i don't mind if they get damaged. My opinion... for companies like MRY (also MRYOK and even Walleva), I feel more comfortable ordering their products through Amazon.
