Do you notice much variation in size from one frame to another? For example, when you install lenses the right side is loose in one pair, and left side is tight. Then you try same lenses in another r1 and it's reversed? Now the right is too tight and left slightly loose?
Nah all fit fairly well the same. Except my black one. It was a gen 1 titanium finish. It seems to be the most picky with lenses..

right there with you brother. I think the Light Ti and the Polished are tops. Now you are making me question my X-Metal pair. ;)
That is prob the last colorway in romeo I'll get. One of the polished ones will prob go to get plated with copper.. I'm debating that at the moment..lol. I don't have any more air cure gloss clear cerakote left to finish it.. lots of matte but I'd want them super glossy. This March when I head back to Florida I'll pick up some more. You see the air cure cerakote I cant get over the boarder without a hazardous chemical fee. It's around 150US over top of the other expenses.. when I went down last year I grabbed a bunch and brought it back to avoid that. I've since used it all. Lol. Kinda sucks but I dont ever wanna pay that fee. Strange cuz the H-series(baked) cerakote doenst have the fee applied. Good thing cuz I'd be broke..lol.. sorry I ramble sometimes. I was actually tempted to get a friend of mine in Detroit to buy some for me and I could take the 3 hour drive to pick it up. I just havent bothered yet.. the air cure clear is the bomb..the baked is ok but it just doesn't have the shine the air cure does..

Anyway lol.

Wish I lived closer to help you out. Will be in Florida next week visiting the mouse :D. That process sounds grueling but the results appear to be well worth it. I just switched out the lenses and the rubbers on one of my R1's (first time) and that was a tricky process. Do you coat the normal polished or just the plated? I honestly have not seen a custom that you have done that I have not wanted. Keep up the fantastic work and I look forward to see what you have in store for the future.
