Hey I gotta start somewhere and why not go for it in style.. I bought myself a beater R1... she was ok but I didn't like the bland look. I like shinny.. now all I need is a set of rubbers and to cut a set of turbine rotors to fit in. I say that cuz i have a couple sets of chrome rotors here. Chrome is where it's at to match the polish I think.. Perhaps tomorrow. Apparently I'm evil for polishing these but hey I like what I like.

I still wanna do a bit more on the bridge and slightly on the left side but all in all it's getting there.

Maybe a couple more hours and she'll be good. With zach's help I've got a lot to live up to. His stuff is just so much better. Perhaps with time I'll get a bit more comfortable..

I just bought a rotary tool kit..I am hoping to polish a pair too...I will probably end up messing something up :(
I have a rotary here. Dremil.. be careful buddy. They can murder a frame quickly. I did this one by hand. The rotary would be great for the polish but the sanding should be more gentle. Just my 2 cents. But you know who I talk to everyday.. the man with all the experience.

Looks great so far
Thanks buddy. For some reason the photos show dark spots on the bridge but in person it's harder to see. I'm still gonna sand it for another couple hours and well see if I can make it a mirror. Its tons of fun to see it take shape..
