He asked for offers. Mine was a genuine offer. Last time I looked, no-one had any money on the table.

Let's face it. If you're honest, you'd offer less, anyhow.

The last pair here sold for $1,200.

So I'm in the ballpark.

P.S. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have sold from Oakley for that much either, because no-one knew that they were NOT going to be released and there's no way anyone in their right mind would have paid over $1000 for these samples when they didn't know that they weren't going to be released.
