I had no idea they would be more difficult than another but I guess that's just me always doing it the hard way..

They have more casting marks . At least mine did and I wanted all that smooth!

Yes. I found they are very raw as compared to my xs and xx polished. Now I had the xx done by the zman and he's super awesome but I can totally tell the R1 is much more primitive than the xx. I prob still need to keep sanding but for now my hands are raw so I'll give it a few days..lol.

Hey I gotta start somewhere and why not go for it in style.. I bought myself a beater R1... she was ok but I didn't like the bland look. I like shinny.. now all I need is a set of rubbers and to cut a set of turbine rotors to fit in. I say that cuz i have a couple sets of chrome rotors here. Chrome is where it's at to match the polish I think.. Perhaps tomorrow. Apparently I'm evil for polishing these but hey I like what I like.

Maybe a couple more hours and she'll be good. With zach's help I've got a lot to live up to. His stuff is just so much better. Perhaps with time I'll get a bit more comfortable..

Hahaha. I wish I could let you have em.. a good buddy had a great idea for a charity type deal. Its complicated and I don't really understand it yet but it sounds really generous...you'll all see what's coming.. I have a few projects for this gentleman as well as our more well known customizer here..
