Prices have dropped a tad lately, but your purchasing one will hold its value to a degree, so not a bad investment

I was lucky enough to get a serialed XX TiO2 frame&rubbers only / no lenses in great condition for $275, but more likely you're looking at $400...

Have you considered Juliets instead? Very similar, much more economical, and you can never have too many...

I've never tried on any pair of X Metals, but I'm guessing that I would prefer the size of the XX over the Juliet

It's not that much different, especially with different sized t-shocks.

I guess I should have specified, its the size of the lenses that make me want to choose XX over Juliet rather than the size of the fit

That is definitely a valid point, but if I'm going to own just one pair of X-Metals (yeah I know, I know, that's what they all say), then in my mind it is worth the extra $

My buddy who has a couple omatter pairs that he babies because they are "expensive" lost his mind when he asked what the plasma xx and 24k lenses were worth. His response was something along the lines of I can't believe you wear them. My thought process? Why the **** wouldn't I wear them? I don't run a museum. If I spend my extremely hard earned money on a pair I love I'm gonna flaunt it every chance I get. If something happens to it, it happens. Sunglasses on a shelf ain't a thing in my house.

Damn right I wear my 500and 600 dollar pairs of shades proudly
