Yup, but still it would be easier to find/give answers if it was organized completely different to the current system. I am a malcontent and will not be placated until swords change has happened.

Has it been discussed about making a value/fake section on the main forum page? There are a lot of individual value question posts. Maybe breaking this thread up will make it easier to get the information when asked, but make it easier for the next guy with the question. Instead of searching through a 600 page thread you look through the posts. Is that crazy talk?

I thought we have a section where people can ask whether something is real.

Like Wicked said, values fluctuate and I don't think a dedicated thread other than what's here would be better.

Some of the problems arise when people don't search for stuff (out of laziness or lack of savvy)

- Ice Iridium Heather
- Clear Heather
- Vr28 Blue iridium Strike
in Brand new hard case.

I would like to know what is the fair price for it?

Frame 10 of 10.
Ice lens 8,5 of 10.
Clear lens 8 of 10.
Vr28 7,5 of 10.

That m frame was going for around $500 last I looked but it wasn't denim

Newbie, first post.

Need your expert advice re selling a pair of original cobalt blue Eye Jackets, with O poiuch and ballistic case.

Frames, rubbers, icons, arms, Oakley writing on bridge all mint. Left lens mint. Right lens has some very light surface scratches, not bad enough to register on iPad camera, more visible if you hold them up to the light and look from the inside, barely visible at all doing the same looking on the front surface of the lens. Can't see any vision disturbance when wearing.

No idea how they got there, I hardly wore these, and they've been in their pouch, inside the case, in a drawer, since c.1998.

Pouch and case both perfect. I've seen very few cobalt and red iridiums on ebay (.com and .co.uk) and all of them were pretty damaged, either broken arms or bad scratches, loose hinges, no case or pouch, etc, and they averaged around $100.

Would very much appreciate our thoughts on value.

I'm in the UK. Is the market for vintage Oakley's better in the US, or the UK?

Also, I could use some help on the iridium description. I've seen some described as "+red iridium", others say "00 red iridium". Is there a difference?

I've done the swivel-and-see-if-lenses-go-darker polarised test, and these aren't.
