R1 in fixer-upper condition... How much would I need to put into it to have it back on it's feet?
-Needs new rubber.
-Both lenses have spider cracks.
-Nothing but a no-name soft case included
-What's it worth as she sits?

Juliet - Carbon / Black Iridium / 4th Gen... Asking 225 it's local so no need for shipping, but is that reasonable?
-Comes with X-Melat Soft Vault
-Said to only been worn a handful of times, only have 2 images so hard to tell
-Nothing is loose

R1, I would say $450 to $500, assuming it’s XM.

That price for the Juliet is about right. Not a good deal, but not bad.

They lens does have XM etched lens although as mentioned they have spider cracks - otherwise said to have no noticeable blemishes.
I meant XM finish. That’s what pic looks like. And with the BI lenses, that should be the finish...plasma is worth more, but I don’t think that’s what you got there...I’d try to go $450 as gaskets can be hard to find and may be costly...

They just refer to them as Titanium, they look more rough of a finish than pairs of plasma I've seen on a Juliet.

I believe you are correct sir.
Due to the R1 design, vs juliet is there no issue with 'looseness' as you can just tighten them up?
Yeah, R1s don’t get loose in the bridge, unless the threads get pulled. Not common, though. Hence, why the lenses get the stress cracks.

Ahh, I see well the lens both have 2 pairs of cracks right at the point so makes sense, the photos are really potato quality but I've tried to enhance them some. Highlighting here best I could their size.

If the lenses were in need of replacement what's the going rate on some (doesn't need to be OEM but not some crap ones either), +/- $80?

For OEM cut lenses, I’d say $100 +/-. If you try to find OEM etched, you looking at $175 or more, since they are rare and not made anymore. (This is the original style that’s actually in the frame now)
You may be able to get regular BI cut for less, or a more “unique” lens, such as maritime for more...check out Chris Hardaway thread for already cut lenses...
