Sadly when a best offer is taken for these we won't know what is was. Actually I could using TeraPeak... and probably should do that more!

The penny went for $535 and the xx for $650, I think it is fair to say that th xx was in better shape than the penny though.

Nice price,,when i was at the local vault over the weekend the one guy there offered me $400 for the Penny's i was wearing.. i kindly declined his offer.

Agreed and the other boxed copper penny brought $688 so it looks like $535 gets you a copper that needs work and $688 gets you a nice one with box. Like NightPusher said an extra $100 for lenses and $50 for tune-up gets you to $685 for a restored one and maybe a little less depending on what you have lying about. And then you're still missing the box...
As is usually the case, it's cheaper to buy something done and complete (like an already restored car) than to start with a project and restore it.

hahhaaaaa. @kronin323 net should be $550 median price for the plasma $500 for the TI. +/- for condition, complete, gen and serial. specifically more for a mint condition early gen vs a mint condition last gen.
