gotcha... Anyone else care to chime in? And I realize I do not post here often - but please read what I wrote prior to responding... There is NO box - they are 1 offs given to me by an Oakley manager to make up for a shortfall regarding warranty service - as such there wasnt a serial number assigned as its not a normal color combination - i.e. It was never produced.
Go with Dragon. Add30-40 for coin

Guys NEEED your help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. Gonna let go a few pieces and NO ONE is sure what to ask for them. If I can get real thought out numbers for both here and eBay I would appreciate it.

1. Absolutely Verified one of only three that have been proven on this forum. Juliet X Serialed 1050 with Perfect Original X Man Lenses (these are the real deal and except for a few private people showing they have them NO ONE has proven it. We all see people list items saying early gen the real lenses etc........ But all the pictures don't show that they are, like pics in a cabinet with the lights on or a dark room. SO, everything is perfect, nose coupler is loose from years of sitting in a cabinet. The BOX is perfect, just the actual label is torn off, so not a matching, but has box all all the rest. I am supplying a pair of fruby to allow the person to keep the originals in a bag in the box so they don't get ruined. Pictures will be below with the PROOF picture.

2. X Serialed Penny with matching box Serial 125# so very very low. Lenses have one mark on the right eye, but not visible in camera and the tops of the orbitals have marks from being laid down on top while cleaning cabinets.

Pics are below lens pics are Pos Red to the left, Original Ruby in the middle and the normal Fruby on the right.

Tough, tough items to price. Personally, i would price them @ what the last same items sold for here & the bay, plus a 20-40% premium for serials (maybe for both, but the penny for sure). Unfortunately value on serial although there is pretty subjective to the collector. I paid more for a pair that had my birthday in it, though higher, than what i would pay for say a 4 digit serial.

Yes I agree to a point, The Penny I think should be around 750 here on the forum, maybe a tad less, but the Juliet is a whole other ballgame. Serial and decently low is worth the premium to a degree. But a 1k serial is different. Biggest thing is I don't think EVER a Juliet with 1st gen Ruby lenses, real ones, has ever been sold here, and darn sure not on eBay. So that pricing is the hard part. I think the lenses have more threads about them started by newbies than you can count. And everyone always says forget it. You'll never find a pair thats in good to perfect condition. I may be off for forum prices but 1k or more for them is or should be about right. A Labeled box would really make the difference. For me, if I could get 1k here for them, on eBay I could easily get 1400 on my account. I would take 2k total for sure for both but I don't know what I want to do. I would really like to have someone on here end up getting them, but hate to sky the price on them. Got a hefty car repair to pay for :)

telling you man, cheap korean cars are the way to go...

repair wise anyways.

prices are both reasonable for someone wanting them bad enough.

i just paid $1100++ for two juliets.

I have a pair of Pennys - Plasma frame, Ruby lens. Oakley sent them to me as I had a spring hinge failure on an old pair... They told me in '08 that the frame was discontinued, they could not be repaired and that they could not sell me another one. I came unglued - and apparently the guy on the phone with me had his supervisor call me back after he hung up on me. Anyway the result of the 2nd conversation is these pennys. There is no serial number on them which I think is extremely odd. So... What are they worth?

The warranty story you told is a plausible explanation for the lack of serial.

Assuming lenses / frame / nosebridge / rubbers are pristine, IMO the value would be more like $350.

Juliet Xmetal Ruby, 1st Gen, X serial, below 10,000 serial, full set matching box, superficial marks on lenses and frame, but generally excellent condition.

I would say about $425. The serial number wouldn't really be considered a low one, and the pair isn't mint.

Interesting. Wasn't there some level of 'kudos' for any X frame below 10,000. Just a meaningless myth?
(thanks for replying by the way!)
