Yeah, real but it looks like they were refinished to matte black...
Strange that it looks like the photos are in a store too.
Guys can you tell me what you think of these are they real and the value no box or serial no.View attachment 188642View attachment 188643View attachment 188644View attachment 188645View attachment 188646
Looks like a legit Juliet but maybe customized. I cant tell if was painted black but some parts look like they were xmetal and then painted over. They are real and they can fetch $2-300 depending on condition, maybe less if they are a botched painting job.
Looks like xmetal/ruby under ****ty sunglasshut lighting to me.

How do you tell if they are refurbished?
Take a picture with the flash turned on of the inside of the left earstem. They don't look refinished to me. I'd bet there's a serial there, or its one of those in between frames when they transitioned from using serials to skus.

I assume you mean refinished - without a serial, it can be difficult. Basically you have to be very familiar with what OEM finishes were available and what they look like and be able to tell that the finish on a pair isn't one of those. But even then there are some who can refinish to something identical to OEM.

I think he already said they have no serial. And I can very well imagine a 4th gen Juliet sitting around forgotten in some corner of a SGH...

I don't trust anyone with an iphone5.

Look at the pics again around the arms and even a little around the orbitals. There are little scratches there that for me give it away as an xmetal frame. Given that SGH also has a history of tossing salads and boxes, I'm sure that's what happened.
