no you shouldnt, the base curve of the lens plays a big factor on that. You will only see it on the outer edges

Found a lovely pair of frames...

Oakley Plazlink OX8061 58mm

Half frame design in a lovely transparent blue colour....
Obviously they are no good to me if I can't get Sunny lenses for them.

I'm coming up with zero from all the usual companies......any of you experts know if a lense can be got for these frames???

SunglassFix will cut lenses but that would require sending the frames from Ireland to Australia and waiting on them to come back.
At least it's an option.

I've also sent a request to MRY.

Surely the dummy lenses from the frames would be good enough for them to replicate??

A little update on the MRY shipping situation.

A pair I ordered on the 10th of November literally just landed in Ireland today......should have those tomorrow.

The pair I ordered on the 13th of November......haven't even been cut yet.

My first 2 purchases went as well as could be expected (coming from China with free delivery)

But these current 2 purchases wouldn't fill me with confidence.

I've been told a couple of times over the last few days that mine are "in the cutting process"

Took a bit but they did all come

I cancelled the Midnight Sun I had on order.....got a refund almost immediately.
I will order again.....but I definitely believe they are having issues at the moment.

My Ice Blue (along with rubber kit) for my Mainlink XL are out for delivery as I type.

I haven't given up on them..... I wasn't confident that pair where going to arrive in a timely fashion (and it was playing havoc with my OCD)

If you are ordering from China, you just have to forget about the order until they arrive. It could be 2 weeks, it could be a month. These lenses are low priced because they use the cheapest postage available.
