That is right. In 2000 the 200-300 USD have been lots of money for me, but I fell in love with the glasses at that time. 1000 or even 2000 USD now is worth less now to me than the purchase price in 2000.

I've been watching recent regular Mars sell between $600 to $700. I suppose you could get more if you had the box and coin and was in great shape. Can't say anything about the Penny.

Thanks mate! Yeah that is round about the value I figured out too. I do not have such a big connection to the Mars hence I might let them and invest in something elseI've been watching recent regular Mars sell between $600 to $700. I would not hesitate to ask $400 … I have noticed an uptick this year with XS selling complete with box up towards even $600 for a mint complete. If you have. Set of lenses OEM or not that you do not care about throw them in the frame. It just makes them look more appealing to sell in a picture. I keep beater lenses around just for that reason. I will still sell it as a frame it’s just the matter of perception.
They look legit but that means nothing anymore as the copies are getting super good…. Weigh it and make sure it specs properly in ounces or grams. As long as it checks out $350 is obtainable for a Juliet that is tight.
Trust what I’m saying… this XX came to me in two pieces and when Mark put it back together it weighed over 2 ounces not the 1.6 it was supposed to. It’s on the way back to seller as we speak…
There are a couple of tells to this piece but being in pieces I hurriedly sent it off to be reassembled. Put back together it would have never gotten past me but I am amazed how close these are getting to looking real.
Going forward with my eye sight getting worse and my willingness to wear my RX eyeglasses to evaluate things still low EVERYTHING will be weighed coming in... I kick myself for even letting it get to the point to being sent off... a few minutes of verification would have prevented losing money on shipping and a tune (which Mark was super kind about). I think he might have even slapped em together before he really looked too... at a glance in hand it looks just like a 5th gen shiny plasma and though that pic shows some imperfections in the molding, in hand it looks smooth and round as OEM. A simple run of the sku # which I just said "oh look, its a sku #" and did not think about the text font nor the number being wrong, would have told me right away it was not gonna work out for the best.I gotta get a scale…
I'm surprised you don't have a postal scale. I use mine because I'm always shipping stuff and use PayPal's shiplabel. It asks the weight down to ounces.I gotta get a scale…
