I very rarely check Gumtree, sounds like I should!

Yeah, I haven't managed to buy anything from gumtree yet but I always check to see if something comes up. When he first listed them he didn't mention anything about the box then later a pic appeared. I'm glad they went to someone from here who's going to appreciate them though!

I wouldn't have thought South Africa would have such good deals! Have you managed to get anyone to post from there?

well.. i asked about the box, and serial, and coin etc. and he put the pictures on gumtree for me after giving me his paypal information. i was very happy with that... somebody on here got a gmt ?? oakley white face for £40 not so long back!!... and its on gumtree i got the 80£ boxed and coined carbon juliet.... gumtree sa, rich pickings.. i have had splices sent for about 600 rand including shipping and a case.. which is about £33... so avoided the tax as well.... and recently was close to getting a romeo 2 brand new but somebody beat me to it..... there was a penny , brand new for about 1400 rand .. which is about £75-80, but with shipping and taxes i didnt pay in time and lost it. had another friend in sa who had a penny, but he kept that to.. must be popular frame out there haha....ive had successful bargains from an Indian website before though!

and thanks @StubbornSteve i will definitely give them a good home.. its a pair i probably would never have even contemplated getting due to the price, so to see a bargain and have the chance to have one is awesome.

Wow. I'm definitely going to be visiting some international gumtree sites! I consoled myself by snapping up a pair of carbon BIP juliets for £50 this morning.

Ooops... We've taken this thread a bit off topic!

I think the last pair I saw for sale went for about £400 but that was without the box.

Good old fleabay! Seller didn't even list them as Juliet's. Just "Oakley sunglasses".

Your not really missing anything. Its very rare that anything good comes up. Its mostly full of fakes.

wow, and you convinced him, or it was already set at buy it now? i have bought a few there like that. but never £50!! haha.. its true.. gumtree is almost all fakes, and otherwise womans frames or o matter. but occasionally its fruitful

Yeah, they're real. Everything is in the right place, straight ear stems, nose bridge it riveted. Just got lucky with a buy it now & a seller who doesn't really know what they've got!

That's not the cheapest I've got a pair of Juliet's for.
