Is My Buddy Being Discriminated Against (At an O Store)?

My buddy purchased a pair of KETO's and wore them for like 10min while driving and said i need my polarized. He went to return these and they said ONCE THEY ARE WORN OE LEAVE THE STORE you can't return them ????????? ,THIS IS A OFFICIAL OAKLEY STORE. NOT THE HUT OR THE VAULT.

The policy on the website states otherwise. What the heck is going on here?
Has anyone else had problems with returns.

My buddy is white.

He was just gonna throw them in the closet and take the loss. But i want to help him. Something doesn't sound right

Never had problems with returns because i don't remember returning anything i did return once to get another hat

Never had that happen to me. Either that employee doesn’t know what they are doing or is just a jerk. I’d say go to a different O store if there is one nearby.

He still had the receipt and all the packaging right?

OP needs to be a bit more specific about what his friend did during the 10min. driving.
If participated in a Mountain Bike or Motocross Race yes the clerk has a point not taking it back or exchange for a different Model.
