I'm considering trading off my TiO2 XX since I prefer Juliets and I have a couple of those that always seem to get carried while the XX sits in it's bag. I also have a lot of Juliet lenses while lens options for the XX are more limited. Would asking for a straight up trade for a carbon Juliet with good lenses be out of line (my original XX lenses have delaminated, but the frames are tight and haven't seen much use after being serviced by Oakley)?

It's a good trade depending on carbons your are worth more

My buddy who has a couple omatter pairs that he babies because they are "expensive" lost his mind when he asked what the plasma xx and 24k lenses were worth. His response was something along the lines of I can't believe you wear them. My thought process? Why the **** wouldn't I wear them? I don't run a museum. If I spend my extremely hard earned money on a pair I love I'm gonna flaunt it every chance I get. If something happens to it, it happens. Sunglasses on a shelf ain't a thing in my house.
