Those do appear to be an XX. If it doesn’t have a serial number it is a forth generation.
If Lenses are good and nose bridge tight I would say value is between 400 and 450. Really nice pair!

Hi I have a perfect condition Juliet box with the skull and crossbones coin (Carbon / black iridium) sadly the glasses were stolen.
How much would something like that be worth?

Also, I have a pair of Copper Penny, all original. They are in great shape, lenses have no scratches, just minor imperfections from use. Frames are in good shape, no damage, just need a tune as the nose bridge is floppy. Has new ear socks and nose rubber. Serial range is PC0010xx.

Sample pair or a Standard ?

Seems to me that the Sample would be 1 st GEN no matter what and therefore more desirable
My twisted way of thinking
Plus the Samples do have some oddities

I have a PB1 Matte Black thats a Sample, It has no A on any of the frame
Was going to get @zwc0442 to do em up in Ferrari theme.
But I have 2 pair to choose from

So now Im torn as to whether I keep the Standard pair or the Sample pair as original

From a value perspective, sample vs. standard is very subjective - some find them desirable because of the relative rarity, others prefer "complete" production examples, others don't care either way.

But which pair to customize, personally I'd customize the standard pair since there's a lot more of them out there, easier to replace if you later decide to.

keep the Sample as exactly that, a low production GEM

Has it been discussed about making a value/fake section on the main forum page? There are a lot of individual value question posts. Maybe breaking this thread up will make it easier to get the information when asked, but make it easier for the next guy with the question.
