Oakley M Frames Through the Ages
Check it out my friend the revant article actually outlined that neon yellow was Mumbo only and was discontinued with the name change to M Frame.

I believe that to be incorrect. You profile pic is from the M Frame catalog that I have in my collection and it specifically lists yellow as a frame color. Im pretty sure I also have some original order sheets that list yellow as a frame option after the name change with part numbers.

I’d look at the pins...are they in the whole way? And are they jacked on the backside?
Could you clarify what you mean jacked on the backside in regards to the pins - is it something that can be fixed via a tune-up or is that a fubar issue?

I'd be offering the individual roughly 150 in value of omatter pairs, which seems like a reasonable trade on my end at least - they are happy with my offer, soley because they haven't worn them much anymore so they prefer the idea of some new that I have... but I don't want to end up with a paper weight.

The pins look like they may not be seated the whole way, especially on the right side. Also, on the inside of the bridge, check to make sure that the bridge isn’t bent. It appears the pins may have some strips of metal on the upper sides, but make sure that’s all it is...

Appreciate the insightful feedback! In terms of the pins may have some strips of metal - I was thinking it could've be sheered off the pin it's self from insertion?
As if it's from pushing the pin past the needed amount, meaning the bits of metal are actually the bridge's material deforming that'd then show on the front side, no?

I'm not an expert on tuning, but I don't think they were pushed too far as they seem short on the front side, if anything.

Any of you have insight into these pins and what may be showing on the backside?

Seen that before. Most likely just some shavings that are from the pin when whoever pressed them in. Not sure exactly what causes it. Pins are wrong sized or the nose bridge holes are not to spec.

Have you found this to damage the bridge or can they be retuned and fixed?
Thanks

I've only had one in hand like that and just put new nose pins in. But I've seen many like that in pics. Can't say for sure there's no damage to the nose tho.
