I agree to a certain extent, but it really is the preference of the collector how they want to "customize" their stuff. Issue here is that they are selling them as real leathers. If they're not, then they're seriously in the wrong.Being a novice to this, anybody care to point out what is so obvious on the Mars Jordans above? While my first thought was that the coloration was wrong, I figured that could be the camera/lighting or whatever. Obviously I wouldn't mind finding a pair for myself and would like to know what everyone else is looking for as signs of fakes. I guess a Crater with leather would technically be a "fake Jordan" but at least it would have some value.
If someone were selling craters with leather on them as a Jordan, they would be seriously wrong also... but if they were selling craters with leather at face value, then... why not. Obviously not going to hold the same value, but still worth something to someone!
I also am curious as to spotting the fakes as I don't have a pair... yet!
Costumes this collecting thing can sure be frustrating!
