I almost got taken for some fake Oil Rigs...
What got me was the strange Camo Colorway... Then someone pointed out the Logo on the lens.
Then the kid sends me a pic of the "model #" that is on the wrong arm... :laugh:
They were listed on my local Craigslist...

there are tons of these in my local craigslist, i mean tons.
the same guy sells them all cause he posted his phone number in all ads. i sent him a text message cause when i first got into oakley a few months back, i was intereste din the eyepatch 2, so i posted here just to make sure and thanks to you guys, it looked fake and it was. anyways i sent him a text message back saying that thank you, but im not interested in foakleys Eckstream1

They have screws in the hinge, improper frame color and whack lens color...

The good thing is that's the best M Frame fake I've seen. I'm not saying there aren't better out there, but it seems like a design that just can't be copied by dimestore molds in Chinese sweatshops.
The pinned lens is another big giveaway, along with the lens shape being way wrong for anything Gen1 (it looks like Hybrid S?), the nose piece looks like it's all plastic, and the ear socks look too thick almost.
Can someone post up some close up pics of the Pit Boss areas that are giveaway to being fakes (what to look for) Thanks!

A pair if Hijinx on ebay, matte w/ grey polarized - I'm not super familiar with the frame's nuances to be able to say they're real with a high degree of certainty. I don't see polarized etching, though they're rainbowed in one pic. Inside the stems is likely the biggest question mark, the text doesn't look very sharp and the icon pockets and molded icons are suspect to me.

I had a couple concerns when I made my last purchase but I went ahead with it anyway. In another thread a member said they might look a little suspicious so.. here they are. Of the 2, the red one concerns me more than the green one. I know the lenses are not correct for the green one according to the review and I couldnt find the exact red one. The icons are my first concern but I dont own an old pair of these so I have nothing to compare them to.
