That is not really a design element. It's the lock mechanism. Many had them in white. Others in black. There was a Tour de France edition that was Matte Black ink so it may have been that. Although it may just have been they had overstock of that frame.Need help figuring out what RadarLock model this MPH RadarLock Path is based on. I have a few of these on hand and the info on the box (and on my Oakley invoice from 2016) is OO9181-6338 MPH RadarLock Path Matte Black Ink w/ Black Iridium Polarized. I was going through them and noticed that some of the pairs have this white design by the icon. Anyone know which model originally had this design element?

Fake and hilarious.Hello everybody! I’m new here but I really need your help. I recently found these in a cafe in my area, the owner said that they were there for a very long time and that it was fine if I took them because they looked fire. Can you help me identify them? I guess these are Romeo 2, but maybe you have a deeper expertise. Thanks!
