Aside from the super fake looking lens, the word polarized being in the wrong place, as well as the 'O' above it. What else can I learn from this?

With all those giveaways do you really need any more? ;)
But seriously...
2. It "appears" to be a Radarlock yet it lacks the lock mechanism in the left arm.
3. Those are not serial numbers... those are SKUs. And well the fact that it is missing the first two O's is yet another clue. That and the fact I don't think that particular SKU exists.
4. As you said, wrong shape and color lenses, O above the lens and the incorrect "Polarized" etching.
5. Like this one, almost all the fakes come with that square microfiber cloth with the serrated edges. This is one of the easiest giveaways.
6. The microfiber bag is wrong.
7. The OAKLEY etching on the lens is crappy and almost looks like OAKEY.
8. The OAKLEY tag in the microfiber bag is not legit and is the same logo used in the fakes.
9. And another really easy giveaway is the nosepiece. The fakes just like this one have the main part of the frame as one piece. In real Radars and Radarlocks the nosepiece where the nose rubbers go is actually a snap on separate piece and in Radarlocks it is never frame color. It is always black.

I knew someone or several someones from this forum were after those c six’s. Lol
I offered his asking price 10 minutes after he posted but he never responded, now i see why!
I told my wife, i bet that poor guy is getting slammed with offers and questions about those glasses.

I'm not believing anything - I can post chronological order of SS.

The timeframe goes like this:
1. You ask if I ship these.
2. I say it's still in process of sale.
3. You ask how much, I state price. Note, I could've said $75 (full asking price) and you still would've offered more. I will explain this in later points.
4. You offered $80. I stated other party countered with $95. You outbid him again. (Again, he paid more than full asking price and now you're offering more yet again).
5. I tell you that you seem to be interested in an old pair of sunglasses.
6. I had to ask twice what they were called (which you now told me after realizing you probably weren't going to get the deal).

I can go on, but the point has been proven. You first attempted to shark the deal, then you got into a fake bidding war, and then after realizing you couldn't win - you ruined the deal for the other "buyer".
Oh shizzle... you CATFISHED @BoostBear ?

Yikes!

I knew the whole C-Six thing was a scam from the beginning, I just didnt know it was a bait scam from someone on here.

Here are the responses I received to questions...... btw, I never made an offer because my spidey senses told me not to.

can you take some better pics of the hinge ares from the inside?
reply: My camera isn’t that good
so you cant take any other pics?
reply: I can take pics but it won’t catch that serial number
Someone else asked me to do it
The serial number is kinda tiny and camera struggle with focusing
an hour later... So I guess your not posting any other pics?
reply: I’ll post more later when I’m home.

The description was so stupidly written, original pic was clear, stupid responses = scam

Personally I think you should be ashamed for setting this up to begin with. What did it prove? Nothing really, we all know that when someone posts a steal on here its fair game for others to swoop in and try to get it.

Ive talked till Im blue in the face about people not posting "great deals" they find on here because it ruins it for the people that do the legwork and stiff out the deals.

Posting a scam for the purpose of entrapment in just wrong. Personally I now think less of you than anyone who tried to put in an offer on the glasses.

and to the original poster on here who asked about them to begin with, if you were in on it, shame on you too.

It isn’t a scam if no payment is accepted - which I did not accept. It just shows the true nature of some collectors. :)

What’s the definition of fraud under law?

Fraud is generally defined in the law as an intentional misrepresentation of material existing fact made by one person to another withknowledge of its falsity and for the purpose of inducing the other person to act, and upon which the other person relies withresulting injury or damage.”

No injury or damage occurred. No offers were accepted & there were many sent at full asking price. OfferUp was chosen for this reason.

I interpreted the definition of scam just fine.
