He didn't say the numbers are serial... but yes, if it's an X metal you're right
Anyway, i'm gonna sit back and wait till we see pics :)

60 pairs nobody's ever had 60 pairs .
You'll never have 60 pairs, you keep selling the same ones over and over. :)
OP didn't say he had 60 he said he's HAD 60. So a couple in a lake, a couple stolen from his car, a couple taken from him at a bowling alley in Georgia...
I've probably had close to 60 pairs over the years.
My money is on Romeo also.

One lost in a racecar fire, one shattered in a mountain bike accident, one run over in driveway, one tossed in the fireplace by angry (now ex) wife

Hey all,
I'm going to take pics within the hour and have them up very soon for you all to see.

I'm 49 and have been wearing Oakley sunglasses in one form or another for over 20 years. My first pair were the RAZOR BLADES with Fire Iridium lenses. At least I think that's what the lenses were called. To get them I had to scan through motorcycle magazines to find a place that said they carried them in their ad. Living in West Virginia there weren't exactly Oakley kiosks around every corner in town. I doubt there were more than just a handful that would even know what they were. Anyway, I finally found a place in Cali and had to call them, send them a check and wait for them to arrive. MUCH different than buying today. It wasn't long after that that one of my best friends opened up a Bike Shop and Oakley was one of the brands that he carried. That gave me access to all the sunglasses I wanted at cost. SO...it's not a stretch to say that I HAVE owned 60 pairs or close to it over these many years.

The number on the inside of the bridge of the nose is:
It is right below the "X" logo that they used for the X-Metal line.
064088

On the inside of the frame the left lens at the bottom right next to the rubber gasket where it is screwed together is a CE mark in strange font.
On the RIGHT lens in the same location as the one on the left is USA in the same kind of font.
Frame color is a gray gunmetal color.
Lenses look like BLACK Iridium, but I am not positive about that.

That's all I have for markings.

Thanks all for the help and advice.
