yeah the top looks correct from what i can tell. i do like the color combination so i wouldn’t be opposed to purchasing custom, but just don’t want to purchase counterfeit.

i asked for pics of the serial which would help pinpoint the origin.

There were no markings on the splice frame except the bridge text on earlier ones. The earsocks should say splice on them though.

legit splice? looks to be crystal black but the gold tint is strange. oxidation or just no good?

Looks like the ones I seen on Mercari, they definitely have the wrong screws installed. Just my opinion, I think they are fake along with the cleaning cloth.

Definitely be careful, I know that Mercari has a lot of fake merchandise on their site!

yeah really bizarre. i always discredit a full hacked up accessory kit from batch resellers. just now realizing those philips orbital screws, and the lenses aren’t ice so IF legit, could be a matte crystal pair with a replaced upper.

link to the ali listing (if allowed)? i wonder if they have this configuration. all in all it seems best to ‘buy the seller’ and these is leaning towards a fluke i suppose.

I found a similar listing on AE (different than the original one I came across). These fakes look almost exactly the same as the one in the listing you were asking about about. My guess is that they are fakes paired with a real case to give the impression they are real, but the micro bag is a dead giveaway for me.
