Official Fakes/Possible Fakes Inquiry Thread (ARE THESE FAKE? POST FAKES HERE)

Oakley has apparel made in various places all over the world. But sunglass frames are only made in USA or China. However, there are A LOT of fakes in Brazil.

You didn't describe the store where you saw them in much detail, but I'd bet they aren't an authorized reseller. Even if they are, that doesn't mean some fakes haven't "supplemented" their inventory. But they're fake. Buy at your own risk. If a deal seems too good to be true, it usually is.

hi kronin, look i was very intrigued with this...how come all the stores selling sliver fakes...? ...so i contacted oakley.com and after some emails...they sayd:

´´Thank you for your reply. After doing some further research I have confirmed that Oakley, in partnership with it's parent company Luxottica, has begun manufacturing select styles in Brazil. We apologize for any confusion that may have occurred.
Best Regards,

Interesting... maybe that's in response to the fact that nobody will otherwise "send Brasil"... :D

I'm 99.9% sure these Thump2s are fake but wanted to ask the experts on here. I notice that there is no "O" on the box and no mention of Oakley. The seller doesn't know much about them but is going to check for serial numbers, etc this evening. Thanks for any input.
