It looks like every post here was written in 2012. Is this still active? Can I post the number on the inside arm of a pair of old Oakley sunglasses and get an idea if they’re real or fake? I know in 2007 they made some changes, like they used to be made in the USA, and this pair ends in “0”. To be exact the number on the arm is AL9608-0. They’re red and black. They look really well made and have the properly placed etched logo, also the spelling is correct on the arm and the middle of the nose bridge. Anyone know if they’re legit?

These are found glasses that were very dirty and washed up on the beach in Stone Harbor Nj. We wanted to post on Stone Harbors Neighborhood page to see if we could find the rightful owner but no sense doing that if they’re fakes. Lol

I did notice some parts that were scratched off in the “Oakley” writing which I guess that would mean they’re probably fakes. Here’s one more pic of the etching if you can even see it
