Jet Intake Ports.Ah. I was my understanding that 1.0 is not the same as Gen 1, but rather Gen 2? With O-logo rather than portholes on ear stems. Sorry if I'm misinformed!

Thanks, yes. So I was calling "Gen 2" "1.0" and maybe that is where I have misunderstood as I thought Gen 1 were actually not referred to as 1.0.Jet Intake Ports.
You mean tye Earsocks? Thanks, yes. So I was calling "Gen 2" "1.0" and maybe that is where I have misunderstood as I thought Gen 1 were actually not referred to as 1.0.
I do mean Gen 2, new O-matter and O-logo on ear stems. I just want to learn how to spot fakes and the embossing of "Made in USA" seemed like good thing to look at... Sorry if I'm confusing the thread! View attachment 1268061
Yes on the earsocks. Just thought that text looked weird, (scrunched up?), maybe that's not a thing or its aftermarket, I just wondered if that was relevant. You mean tye Earsocks?
This will surprise you, maybe, but my knowledge on earsocks is lacking. Wait for another member to chime in.Yes on the earsocks. Just thought that text looked weird, (scrunched up?), maybe that's not a thing or its aftermarket, I just wondered if that was relevant.
Anyone? So I ordered a pair Oakley Radar Ev Prism Golf from Ebay and I didn't have a great feeling about the authenticity. So I ordered a pair from Amazon sold by Amazon. I don't have a great feeling about these either. I'm not an Oakley pro... I just got contacts and needed a pair of non script sunglasses and wanted to splurge a bit. One was about half the price vs the other...
I tried my best to keep these side by side... Left came with a small pamphlet, a smooth case, and a box that didn't have the "latch". The Which is why my radar is going off. But they did come with the protective sleeve on the arm. The ones on the right came with a big pamphlet, rough case, a box with the "latch" but no protective sleeve.
The lens shapes seem ok when comparing to the post everyone shares.. Both have Prizm on the lower corner, the camera just wouldn't pick it up. They do have different SKU numbers printed on the arms..
I'm hoping I'm wrong.. But I believe someone purchased a real pair on Amazon and returned them with fakes and I got the fakes..

They have changed the boxes and cases somewhat recently.
