Official Fakes/Possible Fakes Inquiry Thread (ARE THESE FAKE? POST FAKES HERE)

Pitboss II help. I am selling some Pitboss 2's on ebay and have sold 4 of the 9 that I have. I'll be honest, I bought 9 off of woot.com when they had them for $150 and want to make some $. Anyway, one of my buyers recently bought a pair and is claiming that they are fake because it doesn't say "made is usa" on the right earstem. He's right, they in fact do not say that on the right earstem, but didn't Oakley stop putting that on the earstems? What really confuses me is that on Oakleys website, the pictures they have show that it says made in usa on the right earstem. Are the ones I have fake? They definitely look and feel exactly like a pair I bought when they were first released (that I no longer have). Here's the ebay item #171429656547. Any help would be appreciated, because we have been sending messages back and forth and he just won't believe that they are real.

So, I've just bought another pair of Juliets. The seller listed them as polarized lenses, and I couldn't see the etching in his picture, but he also didn't seem to know much about them' so I figured they were non-polarized and I didn't really care. Fast forward to today, when they arrived in the mail: the lenses are indeed polarized (will black out an lcd screen) but un-etched. They appear to be ice iridium, but viewing through them shows a yellowish cast, with some distortion at the extreme edges.

I feel like it's unnecessary to even ask at this point, but... fake lenses, yes?

Well, they don't sound like Oakley lenses...

But I think I've seen fake Juliets that have blue lenses and a yellowish base tint - are you sure the whole thing, including frames, isn't fake? Pics?

I'm 100% sure the frames/rubber are real, fourth gen (I actually prefer unmarked, but I'm funny that way), x-metal finish juliets. I guess it's possible that they're unmarked warranty frames, but that seems unlikely.

Pics though, since you asked:

Right definitely legit frames but those sure aren't ice lenses.

They almost remind me of shallow blue but best bet is aftermarket, especially considering the optical flaws you mentioned.

Now I guess I decide if I want to bitch about them to the seller (definitely misrepresented) or throw some beater lenses in them and wear them. Not a terrible deal for what I paid, just not as good a deal as I'd hoped. Maybe my beat-up old "Stormbringer" etched BIP lenses want to see the sun again :p

Hello guys, is this a fake ?

I hate to keep spamming this thread, but I saw an ebay listing for some juliets (item # 251714961945) which advertises the lenses as being ice iridium. I know it's hard as hell to determine if a pic of lenses is true-to-life, but those lenses look exactly like the ones I just posted about. The yellowish tinge , and slightly darker center (see the view from behind) seem spot-on. Anybody with genuine ice lenses want to make a judgment call?

Notice he describes them as "ice blue"... revant makes polarized Juliet replacement lenses in a color they call "ice blue". They're cheap. I can't confirm the base tint of revant ice blue is contrast but otherwise I'd bet money that's what they are. As are the set you ended up with...
