Official Fakes/Possible Fakes Inquiry Thread (ARE THESE FAKE? POST FAKES HERE)

Hi guys, newbie here.

dont wanna be rude by making my first post as a "is this fake?" Post, but im desperate so please Dont get offended and tia.

Got hold of these used oakleys from a friend who sold them to me.

Are these fake? Ive already looked at youtube videos and cant seem to find an answer if these are legit or not.

1. Gascan - i scoured the net and find it weird that the frame is transparent/smoked bluish gray. found no other gascans like this in the oakley website. Theres also no model number printed on the inside stem, but since they are used, is it possible that it just got erased due to usage? But the stems do "clip" when opened. Lenses seem to be ice blue iridium.

2. Livestrong straight jacket - theres a model number printed on the inside stem, but sunglasses somehow creaks a little when opened, but they do clip. Theres also some discoloration in the yellow paint (last pic). "Livestrong" is etched on the lens. Lenses seem to be black iridium.

Sorry for the crappy celphone pics. Thanks again.

The SJ is good for sure. The creak sound is common in some frames. I have one that makes some noise when opened.

Not sure about the gascan, never had one. Everyone looks in order though. You won't find it on Oakley.com. Check the database at O-review. It should be there with all the pertinents.

Oh and the discoloration is probably from the other arm sitting on top of that one and the ear sock rubbing on it or getting too hot and breaking down.

Warm soapy water may clean it. Mild soap, no dye or perfume. Soft cloth.

Thanks guys. I just find it weird that the straight jacket creaks and theres some discoloration in the yellow paint. I expected perfection since its an oakley. Im gonna check o-review right now. Thanks!!!

Edit: thanks siracer420. Im gonna try and clean it.

Welcome to the forum.

What's the emergency that you're "desperate" to find out this information? Hope all is ok

Couldnt find the gascan in the o-review database. So chances are its fake? Closest thing is the crystal black frame but mine looks greyish with a hint of blue :(
