Official Fakes/Possible Fakes Inquiry Thread (ARE THESE FAKE? POST FAKES HERE)

They weren't advertised as Asia Fit so I could just send them back and claim on that alone. But I had 2 pairs of Elite Polarized Chainlink lenses (instead of Straightlink) sent to me by mistake from Revant. They told me to keep them and they kindly resent the correct order, you know, proper customer service lol. So I have been on the hunt for a pair of Chainlinks so I can use the freebie lenses anyway and add to my collection.

I just found these from a legit website though with the printed text.

Yeah Jomashop is definitely legit. Maybe it's a generational thing afterall.

My older Jupiter Squareds that say made in USA have different feel and molding lines than the later ones that don't.

I think he's bought a legit pair with damaged lenses and swapped them out with some cheapo ones, hence the new rattle snake edition I've got. hahahaha🐍🐍🐍

And the weight is off, according to a thread in here the Asian fit Chainlinks should be 27grams. Mine are 25.28g. Could be the difference between the dodgy lenses and the original lenses.

I was about to suggest weighing.

1.7 grams from lenses being a little too small? That’s a negative ghost rider. Return them based on Asia fit and get legit ones on clearance from Oakley. The printed model name concerns me, considering the Oakley site pictures don’t show that printing. Generational difference doesn’t sell me.
