Official Fakes/Possible Fakes Inquiry Thread (ARE THESE FAKE? POST FAKES HERE)

Those pictures are pretty rough. Is it supposed to be black or dark blue? At least the bridge text looks ok.
They are described as black and w/gold & in good shape.

They look real enough for me to consider, I haven’t seen fakes of these with that seamless of a hinge, and I agree the bridge logo looks good. But that’s all I have to go on.

It seems like a good score if they are legitimate, the only thing holding me back is a couple hour drive on uncertainty.

Judging from the O Icons in Gold and the nose bridge Icon Text: they'd be Midnight / 24k Gold Iridium.

Interesting you guys se them as dark/midnight blue. They look like black to me, and if anything the lenses could be gold iridium.

Personally, I think they are these:

Or similar to these:

And I’m not 100% positive O-Review has every SKU, combination & manufacturing variation or design adjustment.

But I have a good feeling from the limited information they are real. The hinge seam is too perfect, the bridge logo looks right and the orbitals are dead on.

I seem to agree with you. They definitely are not eye jackets 2.0 They are authentic in my opinion. Go ahead and make that drive, if you feel they’re worth the asking price, the time driving and the gas money. Whatever you decide, good luck bro!

Just wondering if these are fake or legit? LoL

On looking at them now, (after haveing some sleep), you are correct, they do appear to be New Straight Jackets. They weren't the best pictures, however at 01.00-02.00am in the morning, I think I'm not at my best then beyond that you've got no chance of getting any sense from me!
Now you've used your own 'detective' work, to come to the correct conclusion: bravo!

Are you freaking serious??? It's the holy grail! It's the first thing that the designers came up with when Jim asked them to design a lightweight titanium frame. Those unholy things that sell like hot cakes are all reimaginations of a devil mind. This is design purity. This thing's worth much more!!!!

Are these fake or legit?

I compared these to my other two flak 2.0XL pairs which were purchased in 2018 (glossy black frame) and 2023 (glossy black midnight frame). The lenses looks good to me and match my other flak 2.0xl rose gold polarized lenses.

The frames though have some slightly different details compared to older ones. Both old pairs have "USA Assembled" in white letters on the back frame, while the new one has "USA Assembled" in white letters in a red trapezoid.

On the serial number, the old pairs have the same font and icon separating 59 and 12. The new pair has a bigger/bolder font and a square instead of the icon separately 59 and 12.

I also double checked my wife's ojectors (matte frame rose gold polarized) which she bought 3 months ago from the nearby Oakley store, as they are the newest pair in the household. The details of these glasses do match the new flak 2.0XL glasses. The ojectors have the red "USA Assembled" trapezoid, the bolder/bigger font, and the square instead of the icon.

I asked Oakley reddit, and while most people said they looked legit, two people claimed the square instead of icon means fake. I thought i would double check here as they wife bought her ojectors from the oakley store 3 months ago. I know those are real and they have a square instead of icon, so maybe it's a new Oakley thing or specific to matte frames.
