Official Fakes/Possible Fakes Inquiry Thread (ARE THESE FAKE? POST FAKES HERE)

So, these are all still genuine Juliets, right? With the rubber parts replaced separately from the glasses, and the earstems are just slightly bent. I tried to find this exact frame color on O Review for Juliet, but I couldn’t find it, why isn’t it on the site? What do you think about the serial number? It seems to start with JL, does everything match in that case?

Should I go ahead and buy these glasses, and if you know, how much do similar glasses usually sell for on resale? Sorry in advance for so many questions, these are my first Juliets and I still don’t know much about them.
Yes, they would 'appear' to be Genuine, however, as has already been muted, they appear to have been painted by someone other than Oakley. Because there has never been (apart from limited pairs made, other than 3d Printed pairs which also came with a 3d Printed Romeo, Oakley MUZM Series Launches New $14K X-Metal Sunglasses )a Juliet not cast at the 'O' Forge, that I know of. Hence the suggestion, they look like X Metal 24K XX Twentys.

The Serials you've marked are JI's (hence PLASMA / ICE ), not L.

Since they've been customised, this reduces the price. In their present state I'd suggest between $350 to 420. Just the price for the Unit.

Oh, great, I’m really glad they’re likely genuine. Thank you so much for your detailed response and for taking the time to help, I really appreciate it!

Your assumption is that the person who customized these glasses was trying to replicate the X-Metal 24K XX Twenty colorway, right?

Could you please tell me what additional photos or information I should ask the seller for to confirm the authenticity of these glasses?

I also wanted to ask what you think about the nose bridge, I’ve compared it with all the Juliets I’ve seen on the forum and on eBay, and it seems like it’s molded together with the side parts of the frame. It doesn’t have those larger gaps that most Juliets usually have.

Or maybe the nose bridge is just tightened very firmly, which is why those gaps aren’t as visible?

No problem, that's part of the 'deal' with the Oakley Forum.

I think you've got adequate photos to determine their validity.

The tightness could and probably is down to the over tightening of the Torx Bolts, so just be aware, you can OVER-TIGHTEN the Bolts. Not saying they are because I don't have them to test.

@Numpty, it could be a join sealer?....

Could be. I wouldn't buy them unless they were really cheap though.
