Official Fakes/Possible Fakes Inquiry Thread (ARE THESE FAKE? POST FAKES HERE)

Hello, Im new here, just bought my second pair of Oakley's (first off of eBay). I'm having concerns of these being fake. Model Number 12-900 63 14

I bought them online from a seller with very good feedback. They look good except for a few things that are worrying me.

- First thing is they do not sit even on a table - one leg is slightly higher.
- Second is the location of the model number on the arm - it is higher than what I've seen, plus they have the number 133 at the end.
-There is no "Made in USA" on the glasses that I can see.

My friend has the same set he bought legit a couple years ago and the above (besides the Made in USA, he cannot remember if he has that on the glasses) is different than mine. His also sits flush on the table.

I bought the glasses as new, but no box. It did come with a case, extra ear pieces and silk sleeve (which all seem real compared to the ones I've got already).

See attached pictures, notice the location of the model number, uneven arm. Besides that the glasses look and feel real and great.

the location of the number is the same for you? My friend's flaks he bought a couple years ago are lower on the arm and no "133" number

Thanks again man

I have 2 pair. Both of them have a 133 after the SKU number. One is in the center of the frame and on the other pair it is higher. One pair say made in USA the other pair does not. Hope that helps a little.

Awesome thanks a lot man.

I guess the only thing that still concerns me is the uneven arm. It's not even that uneven and seems to sit evenly on my face. I'm just hoping they aren't real ones but defective ones. I haven't seen any flaks that are uneven.

Those Flaks are fine. I've had various pairs of Oakley's over the years that don't quite sit flush on the table, sometimes it's the nature of the O-Matter. They will sit on your head fine, they'll just bend into shape that's the beauty of them. If you bought them from an authorised licensed Oakley retailer, they will take them back and they can sort it out with Oakley, but personally I wouldn't bother.

Don't worry about the SKU print, I've also seen legit ones all over the place, there is no way you can compare the exact precise location of the SKU print, it changes from batch to batch, just a result of when and what batch they are made in.

Also, as a result, the newer batches don't carry the 'Made in USA' on them anymore (as a result of course of being made in China for a good number of years now).

Thanks for the info that really helps! I can relax now haha
