Official Fakes/Possible Fakes Inquiry Thread (ARE THESE FAKE? POST FAKES HERE)

Thanks guys, I tried doing a search to see if there was a previous post on x metal fakes and couldn't find one, guess I need to check my key words better.

I knew these were fakes b/c of the orbitals breaks but that's all I could pick up on, which is why I posted to get more details on why they were fakes. The link you sent was extremely helpful. Thank you for pointing me to that information.

I'm just trying to gather as much info on x metal fakes as I can before I invest.

Yeah the search engine here isn't as user-friendly as, say, google, but few things are. It can take a while to get the hang of it. But it's better than nothing. Also, with a premium membership there's a forum functionality that lets you bookmark threads you may want to later revisit or reference.

Good luck with your x-metal search.

I am going to say fake but could be wrong. Thoughts?

I was saying fake because of the way the seller replied. He told me it was too much hassle to take a picture of the inside of the nose bridge.

Thanks guys. He did say they are looser compared to new. Must be a busy guy I guess because he won't take another picture for me. Look like plasma?

Look real, hard to say whether plasma or x-metal because of how the pics are lit. Is there a serial?
I was confused between plasma and x-metal too. I asked about serial number as well but no luck with an answer.

I think it's just part of the buying experience, the general public don't get it when you start asking detailed questions .

On the plus side that's why there are bargains to be had otherwise we'd all be paying through the nose for every pair.

Obviously there are also clued up tossers who try to be awkward to try to hide fakes
