Another reputable site is 6pm.com and they have a number of Holbrooks on sale as well. Good luck getting things sorted with the eBay seller.

text book fakes - look at the orbital breaks. also, wrong colour way. probably could add more.....

You neglect to show shots of most of the areas that can indicate fake, but yes, those are fake. I can tell just by looking at the orbital breaks; they're wrong.

Then that's not an OEM finish. And the SKU is for the 24K XX, which those are not.

I bet if you look at the inside of the nosebridge, you'll see the rivets aren't actually rivets but are flathead screws instead. Also, the tips of the earstems are likely flared out a little bit; can't tell in the pics.

Thanks guys, I tried doing a search to see if there was a previous post on x metal fakes and couldn't find one, guess I need to check my key words better.

I knew these were fakes b/c of the orbitals breaks but that's all I could pick up on, which is why I posted to get more details on why they were fakes. The link you sent was extremely helpful. Thank you for pointing me to that information.

I'm just trying to gather as much info on x metal fakes as I can before I invest.
