I'm not sure that the 1st gen Canteen did, to be honest.
Someone who owns one might hopefully chime in with a definitive answer on that for you.
(I never bought one, as they fit a small-medium head, a bit like a Gascan).

Those kind of look like thick framed e-wires but would need more pictures to be sure. Request more pictures and post them for a better look.
