The "R" under Oakley is only for certain international markets. US Oakleys don't have the "R".

Those look like legit Black Gold New Eye Jackets.

Quick question. Is it typical for an XX to have a serial that the spacing on the characters isnt even through out the serial? Different size spaces between the digits? Pretty sure it's 100% legit but curious.

I see what you mean, really odd spacing. That serial goes all the way to the joint too
