Official Fakes/Possible Fakes Inquiry Thread (ARE THESE FAKE? POST FAKES HERE)

I also wanted to ask, I’m planning to buy Oakley Juliet, but unfortunately, I’ve never owned them before and I’m not very familiar with the details. The only thing I know is that on the originals, the line from the arm should reach the rubber piece, while on fakes it usually doesn’t.

I found a pair like this, but I don’t understand why the rubber parts are white and why something about the glasses looks a bit off. It seems that the serial number starts with JL973… Could you please tell me if they are authentic? How much could they be worth if considered for resale? And are they really Juliet, or possibly X-Metal?

At the moment, I only have the seller’s photos, which I’ve attached below.

I think that these are legit, but painted over on the stems. The serial is hard to read. My guess is that it starts with JI…

And aftermarket rubbers

Wow, I hope they are really authentic. Are there any specialists here who focus specifically on this model? If so, I would really appreciate your help! Am I correct in understanding that this is a Juliet or X-Metal?

I also wanted to ask, where exactly did you see that something was painted over? I didn’t notice that myself. From what I can see from the reactions with these glasses, something clearly seems off.

This what the Juliet is trying to mimic: X Metal XX Twenty. The difference is the size of them, these XX's are slightly larger orbit and lenses. Plus the shape of the nose bridge, is different to the Juliet. Everything appears to check out for being genuine, the Torx Bolts, the correct angle earstems and the 'double-step' hinges. I think they've just bent the earstems out more, so as to straighten them.

So, these are all still genuine Juliets, right? With the rubber parts replaced separately from the glasses, and the earstems are just slightly bent. I tried to find this exact frame color on O Review for Juliet, but I couldn’t find it, why isn’t it on the site? What do you think about the serial number? It seems to start with JL, does everything match in that case?

Should I go ahead and buy these glasses, and if you know, how much do similar glasses usually sell for on resale? Sorry in advance for so many questions, these are my first Juliets and I still don’t know much about them.
