Hi guys! Oakley Newbie here, so have mercy .

Got these from flee market for 50 euros. Seller claimed they were a gift from a cyclist (rather stolen from, i guess . Are these fake/real? What is this model if real, and how much they worth? Cheers!

Thats a real 1st gen Juliet in the X-metal finish with the Ruby lenses.
Hard to tell but the lenses look a little beat up in you pics.
If the rubbers are good and the nose bridge isnt to loose I'd say they are in the $250-$300 USD range.
The fact the serial starts with "X" is good.

Can someone please give me advice on how to not get a fake pair.

1. How do I know if it is fake?
2. How do I know if a shop is selling genuine?
3. Where can I go for reasonable priced genuine Oakleys in Hong Kong?
4. I am also going to the UK. Is it easy to find Asian Fit there? I assume fake Oakleys dont exist in the UK?

1. Depends on the model
2. Retail chains like Marathon Sports, Lenscrafters, Sunglasshut etc all sell genuine. Once you start deviating into family run shops then you'd risk getting fakes. Flea markets and backstreet alleys are a given foakley heaven.
3. Define "reasonable"? All prices in HK is far more than what you'd find in Australia. eg. Badman new release was was around $4200, which is approx $700 AUD.
4. I seriously doubt you'd find Asian fit models there given the market segment is completely mismatched. Good luck!

Hi. Did Oakley make and sell a silver , polished or plasma mars? I can't see one on I review but I'm no expert. I have just bought these from a friend , he sent me some pics and I said send them to me. But not sure if real or not. I should has asked about marking before they were in the mail. What do you guys think ? Probably the lenses must have been changed. He said he thinks they are polorised. Based on the tilt head , LCD lights vanish technique. He himself bought them from second had a couple years ago.
